Specimen/Type: Whole blood and clotted blood

Container/Tube: EDTA and Clot, plain or activator

Specimen Volume:

Whole Blood: 12 mL

Clotted Blood: 7 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume:

Whole Blood: 4 mL

Clotted Blood: 4 mL

Collection instructions: Sample must be labeled with patient’s full name, date of birth, date of collection and corresponding LIS accession number.

Additional Information: Gel separator tube is not acceptable.
