Specimen Requirements

Specimen Type: Lipemic serum or plasma

Container/Tube: Aliquot into transport tube

Specimen Volume: 3 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume: 0.2 mL

Additional Information: Submit adequate specimen for the desired testing needed (50-75% recovery is typical).  Preparation of the sample will be processed and testing completed or the sample returned to the facility.
