Specimen Type: Plasma or serum

Container/Tube:

Plasma: Lithium heparin, sodium heparin, Plasma Separator Tube, or EDTA

Serum: Plain or activator

Specimen Volume: 1 mL

Specimen Minimum volume: 0.5 mL

Collection Instructions: Fasting specimen is preferred.

Additional Information:

*Grossly hemolyzed samples are not acceptable.

*Serum separator tubes are not acceptable.
