Container/Tube:

Preferred: Heparin, plain

Acceptable: Clot, plain, activator or EDTA

Specimen Volume: 0.5 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume: 0.2 mL

Collection Instructions: Collect per provider protocol.

Additional Information:

1. Gel separator tube is not acceptable.
2. Specify exact specimen site.

3. Submit entire body fluid collection to Rice Lab for storage.
