Specimen Type: Plasma or serum

Plasma: Sodium heparin, plain or gel separator
Serum: Clot, plain, activator or gel separator
Specimen Volume: 0.5 mL
Specimen Minimum Volume: 0.1 mL
Collection Instructions: Preferred sample time for monitoring is before the next dose (trough).

Refrigerated (preferred) up to 7 days/Frozen up to 6 months/Ambient up to1 day

Therapeutic: 0.60-1.20mmol/L
