Specimen Requirements
Specimen Type: Plasma or serum
Container/Tube:
Plasma: Lithium heparin, sodium heparin, plain or gel separator, or EDTA
Serum: Clot, plain, activator, or gel separator
Specimen Volume: 1 mL
Specimen Minimum Volume: 0.3 mL
Collection Instructions: Collect at trough or minimum of 6-8 hours post dose.
Specimen Transport Temperature
Refrigerated (preferred) up to 2 days/Frozen up to 7 days
Note: Remove serum or plasm from the clot, red blood cells, or separator gel before freezing.

0.50-2.00 ng/mL
