Specimen Requirements

Specimen Type: Perianal specimen on cellophane tape

Container/Tube: Slide with clear cellophane tape and placed in a closed container

Collection Instructions: Clear cellophane tape is applied in the morning, before daylight, sticky side down to the uncleaned perianal area. The tape is then carefully removed and then applied sticky side down to a microscope slide, and placed in a closed container.
