Specimen Requirements
If frozen section is requested, do not place in formalin.
Please inform Rice Laboratory if specimen is being sent without formalin.
Container/Tube (Routine): Container with 10% neutral buffered formalin (available from Rice Lab)

Specimen Transport Temperature
Preserved: Refrigerated (preferred)/Ambient ≤3 days
Non-Preserved: Transport immediately, notify Rice Pathology Lab
